There will be a great revolution on the labor market in the future. Therefore, HR departments are already facing a huge challenge of preparing employees to participate in this change. What titles will appear on our business cards in the future? What are transferable competences and will specialization or interdisciplinarity be of greater value? Bio note

Maria Belka for over 8 years is associated with the startup community and constantly expanding her knowledge in the field of management, finance and entrepreneurship. Specialized in project management, business model concepts, strategic planning, validation and building external relations.  

She was Managing Director of the Polish branch of Prytek Holdings Pte Ltd, consultant, and former CEO and Chair of the Supervisory Board of BIT EVIL SA, a publicly listed IT company focused on projects related to AdTech, FinTech and Blockchain technology, CEO and co-founder of Mentors4Starters Foundation - a pioneering initiative developing mentoring in Poland. Twice elected curator of the Global Shapers Warsaw Hub, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.   

Ph.D. student in finance and management at Warsaw School of Economics. Graduate of University of Geneva and University of Birmingham. She gained experience in international organizations and institutions like the United Nations, the European Parliament, the National Bank of Kazakhstan, and in the private sector as an entrepreneur dealing with the development of technology start-ups.  

In 2017 listed on NewEurope100 Challengers, prepared among by Res Publica, Google, Visegrad Fund and Financial Times. Alumna of Leadership Academy for Poland and Blackbox Connect (BBC 24) - Silicon-Valley based program for tech entrepreneurs and Google Founders Academy.
